this very secluded square in the city of antwerpen is quite recently developed. it was designed with the pleasure of a small number of users in mind. the square is in the reconstructed area of the city. one of the buildings is from 17th century, but the rest are all newly designed apartment buildings.
see other square developed in an old city core, but secluded from the surrounding area in a different way.
very unusual but really pleasant is area in the middle with planted bushes and couple of trees. it makes the whole place very tranquil. an excellent example of what can be done with a mix of the old and new.:: next square ![]()
