In this prosperous town, incorporated in 1857, within Greater Toronto Area
and on the Lake Ontario this fine little urban square was developed few
years ago. Along main thoroughfare, Lakeshore Road, this square was formed when new condominium complex development was moved away from the street, perpendicular George Street is closed for traffic and few heritage building are incorporated in the build structure of the space.

.................town square, oakville, canada, 2009
Condominium building is of well proportioned human dimension, ground floors are all with cafes, galleries and similar public purpose stores. Patios are without fences to the central space, few meters lower level of the square is cleverly used to separate intimate and very pleasant atmosphere from the busy Lakeshore.
Example of really well thought way to provide essential social space to the well-being of the community of Oakville. Just observe how well it is appreciated and used by local residents and number of visitors.
