Plaza Grand Bourg in the rich residential area of BA is named after the community of Grand Bourg near Paris, France where leader of the struggle for the independence of Argentina from Spain, Jose de San Martin, lived while in exhale. This circular space is facing much larger Plaza Republica de Chile across the huge boulevard with heavy traffic.

Replica of the house [I don't really know what happened with the original building] where Jose de San Martin lived is located here. Plaza is surrounded by circle of greenery and mature trees [of course blooming Ceiba as everywhere else in BA], benches in the shades and sculptures of the famous people.

This is making it nice resting space [with the history lecture] for students from the nearby school.

It is continued to the Passeo De Las Esculturas [Passage of Culture], displaying the numerous large peaces of art.
