A very pleasant square in downtown Lisbon surrounded by government buildings, below very steep hill hidden by the buildings sides.

   A nice escape from the very busy shopping area nearby. This space was part of the major rebuilding efforts done after 1755 earthquake.   Our new visit to Praça do Municipo was in March 2017.
