This is one of the most pleasant public places I have visited. Its modest size and not so attractive built environment is not preventing this praça to offer lot of seats protected form the sun and fantastic views of the Atlantic ocean. Plaça is overlooking main city beach and busy, still fully functional, fishing port.

For people with extraordinary sight even America is visible.

Very unusual and very graphic sight, from above, [small photo right] of the beach, is keeping lot of observers at any time of the day.

Early in the morning and late afternoon this praça is a bird watching spot, thousands of swallows are chasing flies and moscitos, allmost like a scene from the famous Hitchcock film "the Birds".

Ericeira is our favourite resort town in Portugal so, of course we visited this spot again in 2017.
