This lovely park was probably once part of the estate of Palace of Marquise da Praia located at the south side of the square. Even being located in one of the main pedestrian streets of Ponta Delgada Largo 2 Marco is still keeping calm and secluded atmosphere.

One, quite unusual for this mostly black&white town, blue municipal building is under restoration now spoiling somewhat serene atmosphere.

Couple of nice restaurants with patios are facing centre of the park. Even in this controlled environment two street art murals, expertly executed, are finding its place and adding to the pleasant impression.

Portuguese pavement or calcada portuguesa popular all over Portugal since 14th century, is finding new ways of expression here with very attractive design.
