Previous Terazije, Beograd

In 2007 my daughter discovered this space neglected and almost like the scene from "mad max" movies. It is in the center of downtown [access is from the previous square]. 20 or so years ago it was one of the most "in" spaces in town.

Huge height difference was used to develop new retail store on the main level and small shopping centre beside and on three lower levels.

Roof of it was converted to fabulous terrace, green space, attractive restaurant connected to one of the most attractive heritage buildings used as a diplomatic club.

At some point even the open air cinema was operating here. Today this space with fantastic view to the street three stories bellow and the river Sava in the distance is waiting someone to revitalize closed retail store and this deteriorating space.
