Sigiriya, or "Lion Rock," is a 5th-century UNESCO World Heritage site in Sri Lanka's Central Province, consisting of a 200-meter-high granite peak featuring the ruins of a palace built by King Kasyapa (477–495 AD).

Famous for its massive lion paw entrance, frescoes, and advanced water gardens, this ancient rock fortress was designed for both security and luxury, serving as a powerful monument of art and history.   VR Photographs by dipl. ing. arch. Branislav Kovachevich, Melbourne, Australia,
