This public space in Columbus, most of all three resembling urban squares in the city, is again unnamed space around Columbus City Hall.

This action of not naming space is showing actually relation of urban planning in most North American cities towards pedestrian urban areas.

Notable structures around are Columbus City Council, Services Commission, Income Tax Division, Ohio Department of Education, US District Court, Columbus Police, luxury The Laveque Tower Residences. Best feature is however how it is connected to Battelle Riverfront Park, revitalized after removing a dam that existed there on Scioto River.

It was very interesting and memorable to see "A Myth of Discovery", story about first nation boy Pickaweekee that came to this spot at Scioto River bank, with his hound and involving unicorn, owl, eagle, lion and griffin in the events that followed, represented in a serial of statues of those imaginary creatures. Art is really all over Columbus. City of Columbus is in our collection of 100 Cities around the world.
