a small square surrounded by authentic 18th century houses of which “casa de la trova” a live music venue is most important. this plazuela is one of the very best examples of the kind of restoration in trinidad that not only preserves buildings but also their authentic atmosphere. ideal for walking around and exploring rich details in every window, door or irregular cobblestone. during the day school kids in colorful uniforms fill the area with their laughter while in the evening, the streets are filled with live music coming from the “casas de la música”.
