this very unusual square is over, on the second level, existing square blaak. on the small photo is a viewfrom the lower level [underblaak?] and photo from the inside of one of the houses.

oberblaak is part of the really bizare project by piet blum, built beetween 1978 and 1984. in a very nice location beetween old harbour and big intersection with train terminal, this quiet, unusually shaped square,

surrounded by mostly residential units and few public spaces is one of the most prominent rotterdam attractions.

rotterdam is known as center of world contemporary architecture so this is not unusual.
