plaza arena in xhaman-ha [playa del carmen] is totally different but equally pleasant little square as the one described earlier [plaza municipal]. it is in the newly designed area and has nice water feature, few restaurant patios and a little performing stage. during the warm evenings having a cold drink, watching the music performance, and having the free internet connection from local starbucks, to transfer this atmosphere to distant places like canada, are making this plaza very unique and really delightful.

this type of plaza can be anywhere in the world but three huge and very old tropical threes covering actually the whole area are making it appropriate for the climate and the local environment.
