a very pleasant small square at the edge of a traditional portuguese fishing village. there is a dual purpose for the existence of this square. it is to collect water in the underground cisterna (fontanha) during rain fall.

it is also very important gathering place for locals (notice the built in seats in the fence) especially during evening hours. it provides a beautiful view of the sunset every evening. if you have exceptionally good sight [or imagination] american continent is visible across the atlantic ocean!?
