this small very pleasant space is just bellow the city's main square. obidos small walled and extremely well preserved town had very interesting history. in 15th century it was one of the most important ports in portugal but today it is 20 km away from the see.

it lost its importance and that is probably the main reason that it was frozen in time and saved in a form it had 500 years ago.
