address of the united nations building is 1 UN plaza, new york, new york. whole ground – plaza, territory, that new york and US do not have jurisdiction over, is actually making this very unusual place. territory has its own police, and due to the presence of dignitaries from all over the world, sometimes even in war with each other, access is very restricted and carefully monitored.

space is full of wonderful pieces of art, donated by the member states. fantastic view over the hadson river, little strange feeling [excitement?] of being in a "special" space and presence of people from different parts of the world speaking unbelievable number of languages, is making this plaza one of the most unusual places I have visited.
